This is a month for firsts. We were supposed to be implementing a new format to the magazine, but as you can see, we are coming out in the same format we have had since the beginning. This issue is also 7 days late. Another first that we really would rather have done without. It's also the first issue in years without a Babe of the Month feature.

The simple explanation is that I wasn't able to devote the time that I normally do on producing the magazine. I do 99% of the photography and writing as well as the coding to put the magazine into web format. But this past month I hit a snag in my personal life that put me off my normal stride.

At the beginning of the month,   a friend of mine and I were involved in an incident that left me with some pretty nasty facial damage and some broken ribs. Add in the complication of me being diabetic in the first place so healing time is lengthened  and infection is much more likely and you have all the things which kept me from the computer and you my readers.

Like a great many Americans right now, I don't have any form of medical insurance. I'm not whining or getting political in any way, but let me tell you, it sure is hard, frustrating and time consuming to try to find the needed surgeons to work without up-front money or being insured!

All of these things combined are what kept the magazine from being out earlier. I will endeavor to have the magazine out at a more reasonable time next month, and with a little luck, in the new format and containing all of our feature articles!

That's it for this month folks.

     Ride safe and free!
